OBIT MANN, FRANCES CLARK

MANN, Frances Clark, 73, of Gate City, Va., died Thursday, November 25, 1993, at Indian Path Hospital and Medical Center. She was born in Narrows, Va., was a homemaker and a member of Copper Creek Community Church. Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her husband, O. E. ("Oak") Mann; stepson, Edgar Mann; sister, Opal Clark; two brothers, H. H. Clark Jr. and Swanson Clark; parents, Janie and H. H. Clark Sr. Survivors include stepdaughter, Mrs. Marion ("Freida") Larkins, Kingsport, Tenn.; sons, William ("Bill") Brickey, Gate City, Va., John Brickey Jr., Ft. Blackmore, Va.; three stepsons, Donald ("Don") Mann, Kingsport, Tenn., M. J. Mann and Jimmy Mann, Weber City, Va.; four grandchildren; 13 stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, Va. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Claude Lane and the Rev. John Hackney officiating. Friends will be pallbearers. Burial will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Holston View Cemetery.
