BLACKSBURG MARRIOTT HONORED FOR GROUNDS

The Blacksburg Marriott took first place in the commercial and municipal categories of the Keep Virginia Beautiful Excellence Awards contest. The competition was held in conjunction with the Virginia Nurserymen's Association and the Landscape Designers.

The awards were based on quality of work, originality, workmanship, overall appearance and difficulties overcome. Bill Shrader is the landscape engineer.
