The bride is the daughter of Brigadier General Danny A Hogan (USAF Res.) of Bakersfield, California, and Mrs. Susan Wilbourne Gardiner of Arlington, Virginia. Mr. Luthringer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Luthringer of Buffalo, New York, and Sanibel, Florida. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Wilbourne of Salem, Virginia, and Mrs. A. R. Hogan of Roanoke, Virginia. The groom's grandmother is Mrs. Amanda Hopp of Buffalo, New York.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an heirloom bridal gown of the family fashioned from antique lace.
Mrs. Alison H. Pope, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Anne R. Humphries, Mrs. Clare M. Thomas and Mrs. Gretchen K. Strube. The flower girl was Lauren M. Cummings, cousin of the bride.
Mr. Enn B. Luthringer was his brother's best man. The ushers were Mr. Robert L. Nelson, Mr. Richard R. Thomas, Mr. Paul A. Romness and Mr. Chris Cummings.
The bride graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a B.A. in Communications. She is currently Director of Major Donor Events at the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington, D. C.
Mr. Luthringer earned a B.A. in Journalism from Marietta College. He is currently a communications and political consultant based in Alexandria, Virginia.
The couple spent their honeymoon in the Greek Islands and Turkey and reside in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia.
