THIBODEAU-JOHNSON

Cathleen Amanda Johnson and John Russell Thibodeau were married on September 4, 1993, in a courtyard ceremony at Henderson's Wharf in Fell's Point, Baltimore, Maryland. Rev. Flo Robinson officiated the civil ceremony. The bride was presented in marriage by her mother and father.

The bride is the daughter of F. A. and Sara Johnson of Seaford, Virginia, and the granddaughter of Edith Broyles Winsor of Louisville, Kentucky. She is a graduate of York High School and Virginia Tech. She is currently completing her doctorate in Economics.

The groom is the son of Charles and Marilyn Thibodeau of Aberdeen, Maryland, and Skowhegan, Maine. The groom is a graduate of Aberdeen High School and the University of Maryland. He is an aviator and a captain with the Army Reserves.

Tracey Smetana of Dallas, Texas, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Missy Harris of Oveido, Florida, and Sara McConnell of Blacksburg, Virginia. Megan McKinney of Roanoke, Virginia, niece of the bride, and Katherine, Elizabeth and Lauren Henwood, nieces of the groom, were junior bridesmaids. Angel McCoy of Blacksburg was hostess. All gowns and suits for the wedding were designed by Lynne Henwood, sister of the groom.

Mark Thibodeau, brother of the groom, was the best man. Mark Cincotta of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Dick Gifford of Hanover, Maryland, Mark Peters of Montgomery, Alabama, and Frank Paris of Wiesbaden, Germany, were groomsmen.

The couple enjoyed a wedding trip to Maine.
