OBIT ABELL, WILLIAM H.

ABELL, William H., ("Bill"), 69, of Roanoke, died Saturday, November 27, 1993. He was a former employee of Probst-Childress and Hofheimer's. Surviving are his wife, Marcia A. Abell; daughters and son-in-law, Vicki and Michael Shortt, Carolyn King, all of Roanoke; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert H. and Eva Abell, Huntington Beach, Calif., Michael R. Abell, Roanoke; stepdaughter and husband, Patricia and Randall Anderson, Vinton; stepson, Craig Wood, Roanoke; brother, Walter Abell, Roanoke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise Greer, Alabama, Margie and Harry Bailey, Shirley and Jack Weddle, all of Roanoke; sister-in-law, Kathleen Abell, Roanoke; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one stepgranddaughter. Funeral services at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. H. Kelly Dampeer Sr. officiating. Interment with military honors by VFW in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
