HOKIES' PYNE ON CAMP TEAM

Jim Pyne has become the third Walter Camp All-America football player in Virginia Tech history.

Pyne, a senior center from Milford, Mass., joined defensive tackle Bruce Smith (1984) and defensive back Frank Loria (1967) when he was named to the squad Sunday.

Pyne previously was named to the Kodak and Football News All-America squads. - Staff report
