OBIT BALLARD, CLARABELLE H.

BALLARD, Clarabelle H., of Salem, died Sunday, November 28, 1993, in a local hospital. She was an active member of the Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed her involvement in the Salem Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis C. Ballard. Survivors include one sister-in-law, Florence Hillborn of Mount View, Calif.; two nieces; three nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, at 11 a.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem by the Revs. Dale Ashley and Lew Bennett. Burial will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salem Volunteer Rescue Squad.
