OBIT HANNABASS, ELLA

HANNABASS, Ella, 66, of Vinton, died Saturday, November 27, 1993. Miss Hannabass retired in June, 1992 from Roanoke County School Cafeteria System. She was twice President of Roanoke County Chapter School Food Service Association, a past Treasurer of Virginia Chapter of School Food Service Association and a member of American School Food Service Association. Surviving are her mother, Alma Hodges Hannabass of Vinton; a brother, John Hunter Hannabass and wife, Betty, of Roanoke; two sisters, Jean H. Brooks and husband, Otey, of Boones Mill and Ann Marie Hendrick and husband, Paul, of Covington; nine nephews and five nieces. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 1993, with the Rev. Wm. Anthony Layman officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to the Building Fund at Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church or Roanoke Memorial Hospice, Belleview Avenue at Jefferson Street, Roanoke, VA 24014. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel after 12 noon Monday.
