OBIT GILMORE, FLOYD JR.

GILMORE, Floyd Jr., of Bedford, died Saturday, November 27, 1993, in the Bedford County Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Floyd and Bessie Gilmore. Born October 14, 1914, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Steptoe of Arlington and Mrs. Anna Mae Pinkett of Falls Church; two brothers-in-law; a devoted cousin, Billy Gilmore and wife, Vickie; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 1, 1993, at 11 a.m. at the Western Light Baptist Church in Bedford County. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Rev. James Johnson will officiate. The remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to funeral time. Arrangements by Bedford Funeral Home.
