OBIT PHILLIPS, ERVIN CLINTON
PHILLIPS, Ervin Clinton, 68, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday,
November 28, 1993. He was a member of the Christiansburg Pentecostal Holiness
Church in Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Bertie
Duncan Phillips; his wife, Mrs. Thelma Hight Phillips; his brother, Marlin
Phillips. Survivors include his father, Columbus Phillips of Christiansburg;
two sons, William ("Bill") Linkous of Christiansburg and Wayne T. Linkous of
Radford; one daughter, Mrs. Tony (Wanda) Pritchard of Dublin; two sisters,
Mrs. Frances Shepherd and Miss Pauline Phillips, both of Christiansburg; six
grandsons; two favorite nephews and their families, Billy Shepherd of Salem
and Donnie Shepherd of Blacksburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday,
November 30, at 2 p.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford
with the Rev. Nathan Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the West
View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday evening at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
