TATE, Marie Estelle, 92, of Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Roanoke, died
Saturday, November 27, 1993. Mrs. Tate is the widow of Ray M. Tate and was a
member of Melrose Baptist Church. She moved to Lady Lake, Fla. from
Plantation, Fla. in 1977. Mrs. Tate retired after 26 years as an accountant
with the Roanoke Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Inc. She is survived by a
daughter, Marjorie T. Staton of Lady Lake, Fla.; a sister, Lena R. Poff of San
Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services
will be held Tuesday, November 30, 1993, at 1 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel,
with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen
Burial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel Monday from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m.
