OBIT MEADOR, WOODROW W.
MEADOR, Woodrow W., 80 of Narrows, died Sunday, November 28, 1993, in a
Richmond, Virginia hospital. He was born September 30, 1913, in Hinton, W.Va.,
and was the son of the late George and Ollie Pack Meador. Mr. Meador was a
retired employee of the Hoechst - Celanese Corp. and a member of the Wayside
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie W. Bradberry
Meador. Surviving are two sons, Jimmie D. Meador of Richmond, Va. and William
G. Meador and his wife, Glenda of Roanoke, Va.; one daughter, Mary Ellen
Meador of Richmond, Va.; one brother, Bobby Keaton of Beckley, W.Va.; two
sisters, Josie Poff of Huntington, W.Va. and Willie Poff of Roanoke Va.; seven
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.
Wednesday, December 1, at the Broyles Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown,
W.Va., with the Rev. Arnold Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow in the
Fairview Cemetery in Narrows, Va. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday,
November 30, at the Broyles Funeral Home in Peterstown.
