OBIT--PENTURFF, HAROLD DEAN

PENTURFF, Harold Dean, 65, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, November 28, 1993. He was retired from Norfolk-Southern. He is survived by his wife, Ellen R. Penturff; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mona P. and Gregory A. King, Roanoke, and Barbara P. and Eddie Clowser, Salem; mother, Grace P. Adkins, Beckley, W.Va.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Carl Titta, Bud, W.Va., and Patricia and Robert Campbell, Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother-in-law, Fr. William Lawson, El Cajon, Calif. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, E. Main St., Salem, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Dr. Robert T. Copenhaver officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's North Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Memorial Fund or Hollins Rescue Squad #5.
