LIPPS, Helen Woody, 73, of New Castle, died Monday, November 29, 1993, in a Roanoke Hospital. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Woody and Robin Lipps, New Castle; two brothers, Oliver Woody Sr., Roanoke, Aundrew 'Buck' Woody, Rocky Mount; two sisters, Jo Shaw, High Point, N.C., Cora Harvey, Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Amanda and Sarah Lipps, both of New Castle. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, at the home of her son, Woody Lipps, Route 618, New Castle, Va. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangement are being handled by Boitnott Funeral Home, New Castle, Va.
