BASSMASTERS CASTING CONTEST

The Southwestern Virginia Bassmasters will hold its 1993 Casting Kids Competition at the New River Valley Mall Dec. 11, noon-4 p.m.

Rods and reels will be provided by the club and will be demonstrated for the children at a practice session. Two age groups will compete: 7-10 and 11-14.

The winner of each competition will be awarded a rod and reel set, a medal and a chance to represent the club at the state Bassarama competition in Richmond in January.

There is no entry fee. Stop by the mall for the casting information. For further information, call 382-7122.
