OBIT MCCRAY, LUTHER DANIEL

McCRAY, Luther Daniel, 84, of Roanoke County, died Wednesday, December 1, 1993. Luther was a retired farmer and Roanoke County school bus driver with 45 years service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Lee McCray, and is survived by a sister, Mrs. E. L. Utt, Roanoke; a sister-in-law, Helen Bayse, Salem; six nieces; one nephew; and his foster children, David Crockett, Charles Hunt, Gary Critzer, all of Roanoke; his foster grandchildren, Penny, Kimberly and Steven Hunt, Joey Crockett, all of Roanoke. Graveside services will be held in the McCray Family Cemetery, Roanoke County, Friday, December 3, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Mark A. Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
