DEANE FORD of Roanoke has been appointed as the Jameel Professor of Management for the 1993-94 academic year at The American University in Cairo, Egypt.

The professorship was established this year in memory of Sheik Abdel Latif Jameel, the largest individual benefactor to the university.

Ford, a hospitality management professor, is in her second year at AUC. She previously worked with hospitality management in New Delhi, Thailand, Switzerland and East Africa.
