CRIME LINE

The robbery of six Roanoke valley businesses in a six-week period is the subject of this month's Crime Line.

The suspect is described as being a dark complected white male, possibly of Hispanic descent, in his mid-twenties. He is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build, with short dark hair and beard growth. He is armed with a large caliber automatic pistol, which he conceals in his waist band.

Rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to arrest and indictment in connection with this and other crimes. Anyone with information may call 344-8500 and give the information anonymously. The caller is given a number that is used for identification and need not give a name.
