UDC ELECTS 2 ROANOKE VALLEY WOMEN TO POSTS

The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Virginia Division elected its officers for the 1993-95 term at its 98th Convention.

Dolores C. Smith of Salem was elected recording secretary and Mrs. C.W. Miller of Roanoke was elected custodian.

The organization was founded in 1894 and has chapters in 31 states.
