OBIT WILLIAMS, FLOYD EDWARD JR.

WILLIAMS, Floyd Edward Jr., 73, of Troutville, passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 1, 1993, in Thomasville, N.C., returning home from Concord, N.C. He was a member of the Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge AF&AM in Lynn, Mass. He was retired electrical engineer for the General Electrical Company having served in Schenectady, N.Y., Lynn, Mass., Erie, Penn. and retiring from Salem. Surviving are his wife, Helen Reniff Williams; one daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie Williams Fischer and Rudolph Fischer III, Concord, N.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark R. and April Williams, Vinton; one sister, Dorothy W. Jenvey, Hendersonville, N.C.; a brother-in-law, Roger B. Reniff, Sterling, N.Y.; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Job, and beloved mother, Catherine Williams. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 3, 1993, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Rick Via will officiate. Interment to follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
