POTTER, Calvin C., 63, of Rt 2, Penhook, died Wednesday, December 1, 1993.
He is survived by three sons, Phillip Potter, Lanham, Md., Craig Potter,
Seattle, Wash., David Potter of Lanham, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Carla Potter,
Marion, N.C., Mrs. Sheila Crawford, Simi Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs.
Christine Johnson, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Marie Edwards, Las Vegas, Nev.; four
brothers, George Potter, Butler, Pa., James Potter, Robert Potter both
Youngstown, Ohio, Silas Potter, Rocky Mount, Va.; three stepsisters, Mrs.
Gladys Carter, Mrs. Sally Mahan both of Martinsville, Mrs. Barbara Bleecker,
Hopewell, N.J.; two stepbrothers, John Potter, Rocky Mount, Sandy Potter Jr.,
New York, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Craig Potter Jr., Youngstown, Ohio, Davon
Potter and David Potter Jr. both of Lanham, Md., Alex Potter, Marion, N.C.; a
loving and devoted friend, Mrs. Adean Butler, Richmond. Funeral services will
be conducted on Saturday, 3 p.m. at the Franklin Grove Baptist Church, with
the Rev. Edward Wade officiating. The family will receive friends at the
church on Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Potter Family
Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanfield Mortuary Service, Rocky Mount.
