Mr. and Mrs. Bud C. Jones are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann, to RogerChristopher Whitehurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Whitehurst, of Richmond,Virginia.

Melissa is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Ferrum College. She isemployed by General Motors Acceptance Corporation in Roanoke. Chris is agraduate of Benedictine High School and is employed by Virginia Power Company.

The wedding is planned for June 25, 1994.
