Karen Elizabeth Cozart and Gregg Venable Brown were married Saturday, December 4, 1993, in St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Hilton Head Island, S.C. The officiating clergyman was the Reverend Gregory Joseph Kronz. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, 22 East Beach Lagoon. The maid of honor was Miss Karla Elise Cozart, sister of the bride. The matron of honor was Mrs. Robert Edward Grant, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Carl Wayne Andrews, Mrs. Philetus Sawyer Harison, and Mrs. Grey Boatwright Murray. The best man was Mr. Michael Collins Brown, brother of the groom. The ushers were Mr. Robert Edward Grant, Mr. Marc Sabel Fink, Mr. Charles Blake Hill, Mr. Stuart Hughes Revercomb, Mr. David Ball Trinkle, Mr. Allen Dean Watts, Mr. Jock Rodgers Wheeler, Jr. The bride's gown was ivory silk satin with a basque waist and long sleeves. She carried a bouquet of Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium Orchids. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. J.Fleming Norvell of Hilton Head Island, S.C., and Mr. Doyle Eugene Cozart of Concord, N.C. The groom is the son of Mrs. E. Collins Brown of Roanoke and the late Elmer Collins Brown, and VirginiaWaddell Tipton. The newlyweds will live in Ellicott City, Maryland.
