JARVIS-JOHNSTON
Anissa Carol Johnston and John Franklin Jarvis III were married November 6,
1993, in Crooks Memorial Methodist Church, Yorktown. Rev. Neas performed the
ceremony. The reception was held at the church fellowship hall with music
provided by American DJ's. The matron of honor was Chandra Bratton, sister of
the bride. Bridesmaids were Dawn Jarvis, sister of the groom, and Sheri Hinson
and Ann Heim, honorary bridesmaids, friends of the bride. The best man was
Brit Plumlee, friend of the groom. Ushers were Matthew Sirk and Russ Brickner,
friends of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M.
Johnston, of Roanoke. She graduated from William Byrd High School and attended
Longwood College. She is employed by New Hampton Inc. The bridegroom is a son
of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Jarvis, Jr., of Yorktown. He graduated from York High
School and is employed by Flowers Baking Co. The newlyweds are living in
Newport News.
