BOWER, George E., 81, of Roanoke, died Saturday, December 4, 1993. Surviving are his wife, Regea Bower; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Saundra Bower, Raleigh, N.C., Richard and Janie Bower, Lanny and Brenda Bower all of Salem, Jerry and Joyce Bower, Paul Bower all of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jake Slusher, Roanoke; two brothers, Carl Bower, Vinton, Cecil Bower, Roanoke; nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park Tuesday, December 7, 1993, 1 p.m. with the Rev. Harold C. Lewis officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel.
