OBIT LEWIS, EVELYN GOURLEY

LEWIS, Evelyn Gourley, 83, of Rt. 1 Box 451, Cascade, Va., died Saturday, December 4, 1993, at Brian Center, Eden, N.C. She was a member of the Willis Memorial Baptist Church, Cascade, Va.; and affilated with Draper Rotary and Draper Wiseman Clubs as pianist. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills and graduated from Randolph Macon College. Survivors include W. Herbert Lewis, Cascade, Va.; sons, Dr. W. Herbert Lewis Jr., Madison, N.C.; daughters, Frances Lewis Brewer, Henderson, N.C.; sister, Ms. Marjorie Gourley, Mrs. Elise Berkely, Mrs. Marie Neal, Mrs. Dorothy Taylor all of Danville, Va.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fair Funeral Home.
