OBIT MOTTSHEARD, DOROTHY VIRGINIA

MOTTSHEARD, Dorothy Virginia, 71, of Norfolk, formerly of Giles County, died Thursday, December 2, 1993, at her home following a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Nellie Douthat Pyrtle. Surviving are her husband, Clifton Mottesheard; one son, Jerry W. Mottesheard of Norfolk; one daughter, Donna J. Laux of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Henry M. Mottesheard, Michael G. Mottesheard and Sharon M. Mottesheard. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 6, 1993 at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke, Va., with burial in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
