OBIT DILLON, GARNET HURT

DILLON, Garnet Hurt, of Roanoke, died Sunday, December 5, 1993. She was predeceased by a grandson, Richard ("Ty") Dillon II. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara A. Dillon, Roanoke, Karen L. Dillon, Evington, Va.; one son, Richard T. Dillon, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Randall Brown, Roanoke, Toyna Puyghaleh, Sterling, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Razi and Ramin Puyghaleh; one brother, Donald Hurt, Pennsylvania; four sisters, Ruby Moser, Roanoke, Marie Richardson, Beatrice Swanson both of Moneta, Doris Loyd, Rockville, Md. Graveside services will be at the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, Botetourt County, 1 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. William L. Ross officiating. The family suggests that memorials be made to your favorite charity. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel after 11 a.m. Monday.
