OBIT BOBBITT, WILLIAM DAVID

BOBBITT, William David, 59, of Moneta, passed away Thursday, December 2, 1993, in the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem. He was born June 22, 1934, in Franklin County, a son of the late George R. Bobbitt and Nora Bradley Bobbitt. His wife was the late Doristeen Ashwell Bobbitt. He was an employee of the Virginia Department of Transportation. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy B. and Russell Seay, Moneta, Sheila B. and Jeff Wells, Roanoke; three brothers, Sam Bobbitt, Bedford, Aubrey Bobbitt, Walter Bobbitt, both of Moneta; a sister, Christine Ellis, Moneta; a grandson, David Andrew Seay, Moneta. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 4, 1993, at 11 a.m. from the Radford Baptist Church by Rev. Vernon DeLong. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
