RECREATION SIGN-UP DEADLINES

The Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Department has announced registration deadlines for several activities:

Registration for Pee-Wee basketball clinics continues through Jan. 3. Clinics start Jan. 8 at Auburn High School, Shawsville High School and Christiansburg Middle School. The fee is $10.

Registration for the Montgomery County High School Basketball League has been extended until Friday. Teams will be offered at Auburn High School, Shawsville High School and Christiansburg Middle School. The program is open for anyone in grades 9-12. The fee is $15.

Registration ends Dec. 15 for the Men's and Women's Fastbreak Basketball League. Participants must be at least 18. Games will be played at Christiansburg Middle School Monday and Wednesday nights. The fee is $220 per team.

Youth basketball coaches, officials (youth and adult) and scorekeepers also are needed for recreation teams. For more information, call Tim Cooney, 382-6975.
