OBIT GLADDEN, KATHLEEN MORRIS
GLADDEN, Kathleen Morris, 66, of Salem, died Tuesday, December 7, 1993. She
was the wife of the late Irvin Farmer Gladden. She was a retired nurse for the
VA Hospital in Salem and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints. She is survived by her mother, Mary B. Gladden, Christiansburg; five
sons and daughters-in-law, Robert M. and Cathy Gladden, Richmond, Ervin E.
Gladden, Salem, Paul A. Gladden, Calif., Byron Thomas Gladden, Salem, Barry W.
and Tina Gladden, Salem; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Abraham
Salles, Salem; one brother, Frank E. Morris of Maryland; ten grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop Tim Layton will officiate. Burial will be
in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to
9 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son, Salem.
