OBIT MILES, ELLIS E. SR.

MILES, Ellis E. Sr., 84, of Roanoke, died Saturday, December 11, 1993 in a local nursing home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estella Barnes Miles. Surviving are his son, Ellis E. Miles Jr., Roanoke; daughter, Betty Barnett, Roanoke; grandchildren, Ricky Gibson, Michael Gibson, Jeanette Baldwin; seven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Gladys Miles, Salem. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday in Fair View Cemetery by the Rev. Frank W. Feather. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke.
