SOCCER PLAYERS CHOSEN

Six Roanoke Star players were chosen for Virginia Olympic Development soccer teams during weekend tryouts in Virginia Beach.

Landon Moore was named to the Under-13 team, Stuart Angel and Wade Forte were selected for the Under-14 roster, and Steven Hamblen, Don Haga and Trevor Plunkett were picked for the Under-15 squad. Each team is made up of the top 25 players in their age group in the state.
