OBIT MARKLE, CYNTHIA WEEKS

MARKLE, Cynthia Weeks, 92, of Roanoke, formerly of Floyd, passed away Saturday, December 11, 1993. She was the widow of Brown Markle of Floyd. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and George Kish, Roanoke; three sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert and Aldeen Markle, Newington, Robert and Elnora Markle, Alexandria, Charles and Wanda Markle, Moneta; two daughters-in-law, Vera Markle, Salem, Oveda Markle, Stafford; one son-in-law, Joe Dillon, Floyd; also are 14 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Curtis and Ralph Markle. Funeral services will be conducted noon Tuesday, December 14, 1993, with the Rev. Mark Graham officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
