CATHOLIC GIRLS GET EASY WIN

Junior center Abby Dickson, who didn't start due to disciplinary reasons, came off the bench to score 19 points Monday and lead Roanoke Catholic to a 51-17 victory over Hargrave Military in high school girls' basketball.

Dickson did most of her damage in the second quarter when Roanoke Catholic (3-2 overall, 1-0 Blue Ridge Conference) outscored Hargrave (0-3, 0-1) 16-1 to take command.

Beth Sykes paced Hargrave with seven points.
