OBIT FRANCIS, GEORGE THOMAS

FRANCIS, George Thomas, ("G. T."), 18, of Roanoke, died Sunday, December 12, 1993, in a local hospital, following a lifelong illness. G. T. was a senior at Northside High School. Surviving are his parents, George and Carol F. Francis; brother, Randall Francis; aunts and uncles, Vicky F. Rowland, Vinton, Mary F. Crowder, Salem, Michael C. Ferris, Roanoke, Reginald J. Ferris, Vinton, Joseph P. Francis, Hampton, and Kamaline Thornton, Roanoke; godchild, Emily F. Land, Charlottesville and a number of cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. James E. Parke officiating. Interment will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, at Oakey's North Chapel.
