OBIT-GUSLER, GARLAND L.

GUSLER, Garland L., 65, of Ferrum, formerly of Roanoke, died Sunday, December 12, 1993, in a Martinsville Nursing Home. He was born at Ferrum, Va., on November 23, 1928, a son of the late Abraham Lincoln and Nannie Hale Gusler. Surviving is one brother, George W. Gusler of 611 Longview Drive, Collinsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Lynch Chapel, with the Rev. M. G. Goodpasture officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Blue Ridge Institute, Ferrum, Va.
