OBIT-BANE, INDRA

BANE, Indra, 73, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, December 14, 1993, at Lewis-Gale Hospital, after declining health for the past 3 years. She was born on May 20, 1920, in Ravenswood, W.Va. Mrs. Bane was a member of the Baptist Church in Parkersburg, W.Va.; the Ladies Auxiliary Unit 67 of the Fleet Reserve Association, Washington, D.C.; and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3006, Salisbury, N.C. Survivors include her husband, Joseph William Bane; one stepson, Timothy William Bane, Media, Pa.; one stepdaughter, Susan Bane Trued, M.D., Delmar, N.Y.; one brother, William Byrne Kelly, Toronto, Ohio; two sisters, Mary Forshey, Mineral Wells, W.Va., Dainty Kelly, Bellesville, W.Va.; four stepgrandchildren, Lora, Lindsey and Kevin Bane, Media, Pa., Lyle Trued, Delmar, N.Y. A graveside service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery Friday, December 17, at 10 a.m. The family suggests memorials be made to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, c/o Kazim Temple, 628 Campbell Ave., Roanoke, Va. 24016.
