OBIT UZZELL, WILLIAM JOSEPH JR.

UZZELL, William Joseph Jr. 71, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, December 14, 1993, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Dallas Patricia Uzzell; three sons, William Joseph Uzzell, III of Covington, John Keith Uzzell of Maryland, Larry Steven Uzzell of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Darlene Anne Whalen of Pa., Linda Rae Quickie of Md., Loretta Jean Curtis of Riner; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, at the Richardson-Horne Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Peter duPlessis, with interment in Sunset Cemetery. The family requests flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Main Street Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 557, Christiansburg, Va. 24073 or to New River Valley Hospice, 1806 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. The family will receive friends at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday morning.
