OBIT GUINN, DORA ELIZABETH

GUINN, Dora Elizabeth, ("Ted"), 84, of Rt. 4, Wytheville, died Monday, December 13, 1993, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wythe County, Va., the daughter of the late Floyd B. and Lillie Corvin Guinn. She was a member of the Petunia Christian Church, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd B. ("Bunk") Guinn and Kelly Guinn. She is survived by three foster children, Jimmy Corvin of Wytheville, Flora Taylor of Ashland, Maude Henley of Stafford; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Guinn Grubb of Wytheville; one brother, James E. Guinn of Wytheville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Barnett Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of arrangements.
