OBIT MARTIN, EVELYN NOEL
MARTIN, Evelyn Noel, 63, of Lexington, died Monday, December 13, 1993 at
her residence. Mrs. Martin was born in Rockbridge Co., Va. on March 23, 1930,
a daughter of the late Nathan Van Noel and Lucy Sampson Noel. She was a member
of the Collierstown United Methodist Church, Lexington, and was retired from
Burlington Industries after 44 years of service. Mrs. Martin is survived by
her husband, Bruce W. Martin, Lexington; four sisters, Armetta Armstrong, Edna
Zollman, Naomi Hostetter and Arbutus Ayers, all of Lexington; a brother,
VanBuren Noel of Covington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services
will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday,December 16, 1993, at the Harrison Funeral
Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth E. Price officiating. Burial to follow in the
Broad creek A.R.P. Cemetery, Natural bridge, Va. The family will receive
friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home,
Lexington.
