OBIT BARTON, MARTHA ANN

BARTON, Martha Ann, ("DiDi"), 49, of Vinton, died Tuesday, December 14, 1993. She was an avid supporter of the William Byrd High School Band, of which her son was member. Surviving are her husband, Roy Lee Barton Sr.; daughter, Patricia Ann Barton, Vinton; sons, Roy Lee Barton Jr., Vinton, Timothy Barton, Hickory, N.C.; four sisters, Nancy Hackney, Janet Kohne, Ruby Kohne, Arvila Kohne; four brothers, Ralph, Lee Roy, Curtis and Alvin Kohne all of Alexandria. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 7 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 1993, with the Rev. George E. Stevenson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Alexandria, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
