OBIT COMPTON, ODELL O.

COMPTON, Odell O., 78, of Ellijay, Ga. and formerly of Floyd, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 1993, in Gilmer Nursing Home in Ellijay, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents Ashby E. and Carrie M. Compton and one brother Clyde S. Compton. She is survived by one brother, Carson L. Compton, Pulaski, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Allene) Lewis, Danville, Va., Mrs. Larry (Edna) Randall, Ellijay, Ga.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 18, 1993, 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery, Tuggles Gap. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
