IN SCHOOL

"THE BLACK SWAN," the William Byrd High School yearbook, won trophy class honors at a recent Virginia High School League publication workshop. The yearbook also won first place in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association competition and won the highest rating awarded and placed eighth nationally in the National Scholastic Press Association competition. Phyllis Zorn is yearbook adviser.
