OBIT-HOWELL, LILLIAN GERTRUDE WARE

HOWELL, Lillian Gertrude Ware, 74, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, December 16, 1993. Surviving are five sons, Robert Earl Howell, Blue Ridge, Harvey R. Howell, Chamblissburg, Charles David Howell, Roanoke, William Ely Howell, Buchanan, George T. Howell, Franklin County; one brother, Pete Fred Ware, Bedford; three sisters, Elsie Grizzle, Hattie Grizzle, both of Castlewood, Muriel Williamson, Bedford; also 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 1993, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Dee C. Flory will officiate. Burial will be private. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, but friends may call at the residence, 1321 Tazewell Ave., S.E. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Lotz Vinton Chapel.
