BOONE-JONES

Kristen Lea Jones and Randal Lee Boone were married December 18, 1993, at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Cave Spring Baptist Church. Reverend James H. McLendon, uncle of the bride, officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Karen Doolan, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Amy Hansen, Dawn Martin, Anne Gray, and Pam Purdy, all friends of the bride. Stephanie McLendon, cousin of the bride, and Christi Vaden, sister of the groom, were the flowergirls.

Dewey Beaver served as his grandson's best man. The ushers were Bobby Mongan, Brad Beane, Bryan Meador, Rodney Ratliff, and Rob Rich, all friends of the groom, and Jay Jones, brother of the bride. The ringbearer was Christopher McLendon, cousin of the bride.

Angela Boone, sister of the groom, attended the guestbook. Special music was provided by soloists, Todd Manning and Kathy Kennedy; organist, Joyce Tennant; and trumpeters, Chris Beaver and Gary Beveridge.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David R. Jones of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Roanoke College, and is employed by the Roanoke County School System.

The groom is the son of Richard Boone and the late Clara Boone. He is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Wingate College. He is employed byR ehabilitation Services of Roanoke.

The newlyweds will make their home in Roanoke after a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
