MARTIN-FRAZIER
Leigh Alison Frazier and Kenneth Dale Martin celebrated the blessing of
their marriage on December 18 at Thrasher United Methodist Church in Vinton.
The Rev. Anthony Layman officiated at the 7:00 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Creed F. Frazier III of Salem. She is a graduate of
Northside High and is a senior at Virginia Tech. The groom is the son of Mrs.
Betty J. Martin and Mr. James E. Martin, Sr., of Roanoke. He is a graduate of
Northside High and is employed by the United States Marine Corps. Bridesmaids
were Debbie and Marion Frazier and Ruth Blakey, sisters of the bride. Flower
girl was Leah Frazier, niece of the bride. Mr. Martin was his son's best man.
Ushers were James E. Martin, Jr., brother of the groom, Creed F. Frazier IV,
brother of the bride, and John Slaughter, friend of the groom. Organist was
Ronn Lowe. The couple will live in Jacksonville, N. C.
