KIDD-GREEN

Jennifer Leigh Green and Michael Lindsay Kidd were married Saturday, September 25, 1993, at 6:00 p.m. at Bensalem Presbyterian Church, Eagle Springs, N. C. The ceremony was performed by Chaplain Charles A. Meek.

The reception was held at The Inn at Eagle Springs, Eagle Springs, N. C.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Green of 5220 Big Oak Church Rd., Eagle Springs, N. C., and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Williams of Eagle Springs and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Green.

The bridegroom is the son of the Honorable and Mrs. Edward S. Kidd, Jr., of Roanoke, Virginia. He is the grandson of Mrs. M. L. Sechrest of High Point, N. C., and the late Mr. Sechrest, Mrs. Edward S. Kidd of Panama City, Fla., and the late Mr. Kidd.

For the ceremony a program of wedding music was presented by Barbara Williams, organist, and Carolyn Hatcher, flutist.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore an off-the-shoulder Galina gown. The fitted bodice had floral appliques and the tulle skirt was accented with flowers. Her headpiece was a floral tiara with beaded silk appliques extending into a fingertip veil.

The matron of honor was Jody Sur of Charlotte, N. C., sister of the bride. She wore an off-the-shoulder fitted black crepe dress in tea-length.

The bridesmaids were DeNeen Amos of Harrison, Tenn., sister of the bridegroom; Holly Sutphin of Eagle Springs, cousin of the bride; Becky Turner of Oak City; and Julie Turner of Cary, cousin of the bride. Their gowns were also off-the-shoulder, fitted black crepe tea-length.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

Ushers were Jeffrey Conner of Midlothian, Va.; Jeffrey Green of Eagle Springs, brother of the bride; E. Stan Kidd of Virginia Beach, Va., brother of the bridegroom; Richard Mutzabaugh of Charlotte, N. C.; and Timothy Phelps, Roanoke, Va.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of East Montgomery High School and will graduate in May from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in metal design.

Mr. Kidd graduated from Cave Spring High School and is a 1987 graduate of Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He is employed with First Citizens Bank in Raleigh, N. C.

After a wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, the newlyweds now reside in Wilson, N. C.
