WOODYARD ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. John F. Woodyard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary December 5, 1993, with a reception hosted by their children and grandchildren at the First United Methodist Church, Pearisburg, Virginia. They were married December 7, 1943, at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church, Roanoke, Virginia. She is the former Violet J. White. Mr. Woodyard retired from Hercules, Inc., and Mrs. Woodyard retired from Celanese Corp. Their children are Gary and Sue Woodyard, Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Denny and Linda Woodyard, Christiansburg, Virginia. They have four grandchildren, Jennifer Hart, Katherine Howard, Andrew Neal and Matthew Alan.
