OBIT-DEHAVEN, LEONARD EARLY

DeHAVEN, Leonard Early, 88, of Hillsville, passed away Saturday, December 18, 1993, at Wythe County Community Hospital. Born on July 15, 1905 in Carroll County to William Thomas DeHaven and Mattie Webb DeHaven. He is survived by his wife, Louise Branscome DeHaven; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Rachael F. DeHaven, Pulaski; three sisters, Mrs. John (Ella) Fulcher, Hillsville, Mrs. Artye Newman, Marion, Va., Mrs. Belva Akers, Winston-Salem, N.C.; two grandchildren, Stephen F. DeHaven, Marshallville, Ohio and David B. DeHaven, Forrest, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 21, 1993, at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Va. with the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial in the Pine View Cemetery at Laurel Fork. The family will receive friends Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville, Va.
